Founded in June, 1999, Changzhou New East Cable Co., Ltd. is based on the former Jiangsu Shenji Group, originally named as Changzhou East Cable Factory in 1988. Our company is a well-established company and is known as a famous enterprise which has won the market with our high quality products. We have been focusing on perfection of quality assurance system, and continued our adherence to the business criteria of "Customer Uppermost and Prestige First". Our company is close to the Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway (about 2 kilometers to the east exit of Changzhou City). Therefore, we enjoy a very good geographic position with convenient communication accesses. Besides, we possess more than 100 sets of machines and equipment for manufacturing and testing of cables and wires, a land area of 27,000 square meters and a construction area of about 15,000 square meters. Our accumulated assets amount to USD4.38 million, among which 2.38 million is used for buildings and equipment and 2 million for working capital. As a privately-owned enterprise, we have a register capital of USD2.25 million. For the moment we have enrolled 150 employees and our turnover for year 2005 is USD15 million, resulting in USD0.875 million profit. Cables and wires with "Shenji Brand" are honored as "Famous-Brand Product in Jiangsu Province". In 2002, our products were given the title of "Well-Known Trademark in Changzhou" and "Well-known Brand in China". Then in 2005, we were certified as one of the AAA Trust and Credit enterprises in Changzhou City. With sufficient equipment for the manufacturing and testing of cables and wires, our annual capacity can reach USD31.25 million. Besides, we have achieved the State Confirmation for Metrological Assurance and the State Compulsory Product Certification. The flame-resistant and flame-retardant power cables have been granted with Product Quality License of Jiangsu Province. We have managed to obtain the network access licenses to various industries like petroleum, chemistry and power supply, which enables the company to enter different end market fields like water conservancy, power generation, communications, petrochemistry, metallurgy, construction and information processing. Some of our products have been used and played a great role in a number of important projects, like Beijing-Kowloon Railway, Shanghai Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Bao-Steel Infrastructure Reconstruction and the 3-Gorges Hinge Irrigation Works. We plan to develop the following new products: electronic wires and cables, special wires and cables, UL wires, VDE wires and locomotive wires.
